Facial pain, pressure, blocked or runny nose, thick nasal discharge.
Assessment of severity and symptom duration.
Eligible: Aged 12 years and over
Red, swollen, warm, painful or oozing insect bites.
We assess signs of infection and provide NHS treatment where suitable.Eligible: Aged 1 year and over
Painful, tingling rash that develops into blisters (usually on one side).
Early assessment can reduce severity and complications.

Red sores or blisters with a honey-coloured crust (often around nose or mouth).

Burning when passing urine, urgency, frequency, lower abdominal discomfort.

Do not have red-flag symptoms requiring urgent medical care
If Pharmacy First is not suitable, we will refer or signpost you safely to the correct NHS service.
Yes. Pharmacy First is an NHS-funded service for eligible patients.
No. Pharmacy First allows you to access treatment without a GP appointment.
No. All Pharmacy First consultations at Veritas Pharmacy are video or telephone only.
If clinically appropriate and approved under NHS guidelines, treatment may be supplied following assessment.
Our pharmacist will advise you and direct you to GP, NHS 111, urgent care or A&E if required.
