About the fertility hormones profile

Five markers, one appointment.

This panel measures testosterone, prolactin, FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), LH (luteinising hormone), and oestradiol (E2). Together, these markers give a broad view of ovarian and pituitary function, commonly used when planning a pregnancy, investigating irregular cycles, or as part of a wider fertility assessment. Raised testosterone or prolactin can also point towards conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which can affect fertility.

Some of these markers, particularly FSH, LH, and oestradiol, are best measured at specific points in your cycle. Your pharmacist will discuss your cycle when you book, to help arrange the most informative timing.

This is not a fertility guarantee test. This panel provides useful information about your hormonal picture, but cannot predict whether or when you will conceive naturally. It is best used alongside a wider conversation with your pharmacist or fertility specialist.
Your result includes a clinician commentary. A clinician reviews your result and provides written context before it is sent to you.

Does the timing in my cycle matter?
Yes, for several of these markers, particularly FSH, LH, and oestradiol. Your pharmacist will discuss your cycle when you book to help arrange the most informative timing.
Do I need to fast before this test?
