Female Hair Loss Blood Test.
A comprehensive 39-marker blood panel covering hormones, thyroid function, iron stores, and general health, designed to help identify contributing causes of hair thinning or shedding in women. Results are reviewed by your pharmacist, ideally alongside a Trichology consultation.
Why this panel, and why so many markers?
Hair loss in women can have several underlying contributors, including hormone imbalances, thyroid problems, low iron stores, and vitamin deficiencies. Rather than testing one marker at a time, this panel checks the most commonly relevant factors together in a single blood sample, giving your pharmacist a fuller picture to work from.
This test is usually most useful alongside a Trichology consultation, where your pharmacist can interpret your results in the context of your history and scalp examination, rather than in isolation.
What to expect.
One visit for sample collection, no fasting required beyond the morning timing note above.
