Is treatment guaranteed?

No. Treatment is only provided where clinically appropriate following a thorough assessment. Not every patient will be a suitable candidate for prescription hay fever treatment. Our clinician will explain your options clearly at your appointment.

What does the £75 include?

The £75 fee covers your full consultation with our independent prescriber and, where clinically appropriate, the prescription treatment provided at that appointment. There are no additional charges on the day.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly with us without a GP referral. This is a private, fee-paying service led by our independent prescriber. Simply book online, by phone, or via WhatsApp.

How long does the appointment take?

Typically 10–15 minutes. The consultation, assessment, and treatment (where appropriate) are all completed in a single visit. You can drive before and after the appointment.

Is this the same as an NHS hay fever injection?

This is a private service. NHS hay fever injections are no longer routinely available on the NHS in most areas. We are able to discuss and prescribe appropriate treatment options privately following your clinical assessment.

Can I book if I haven’t tried antihistamines first?

Yes. Anyone experiencing significant hay fever symptoms can book a consultation. Our prescriber will assess your symptoms, history, and current medications to determine the most appropriate treatment pathway for your situation.

Is hay fever treatment safe?

All treatment at Veritas is assessed and administered by a GPhC-registered independent prescriber. Suitability is confirmed at your consultation. Any contraindications or risks are discussed with you before treatment is given. Not all patients will be clinically suitable.
