    What happens after I nominate?
    Your nomination is registered and your GP’s system is updated. The next time your GP issues a prescription, it will be sent electronically to Veritas Pharmacy. We will dispense and deliver it free to your home address. You will receive a confirmation from us once your nomination is set up.
    Can I change my nominated pharmacy later?
    Yes, at any time. Nomination is not a contract. You can switch to a different pharmacy via the NHS App, by contacting your GP surgery, or by asking any pharmacy to register as your nominee.
    How quickly will my prescriptions be delivered?
    We aim to deliver same-day or next-day from receipt of the electronic prescription from your GP. Delivery times are subject to medication availability — if a medication is not in stock we will contact you and advise on timing. Call us on 0191 503 4053 to discuss your specific medications.
    Do I still need to request my repeat prescriptions from my GP?
    Yes. Nomination tells your GP where to send prescriptions, but it does not automatically request them. You still need to request your repeats from your GP surgery in the usual way (online, via the NHS App, or by calling your surgery). Once your GP issues the prescription, it comes to us automatically.
