Allergy Complete: 295 Allergens.
Our most comprehensive allergy test, screening 295 individual allergens from a single blood sample using microarray technology. Covers grass and tree pollens, foods, animal dander, insect venoms, moulds, and more.
Understanding your allergies.
An allergy happens when the immune system mistakes a harmless substance, such as pollen, a particular food, or animal dander, for something harmful, and reacts against it. Around one in four people have some form of allergy, which can contribute to conditions such as hay fever, asthma, eczema, and digestive symptoms. In rare cases, allergic reactions can be severe and require urgent medical treatment.
This test uses microarray technology to screen 295 individual allergens from one blood sample, and also checks for cross-reactivity between related allergens, an important part of interpreting allergy results accurately. Knowing what you are allergic to can help guide treatment, or simply help you know what to avoid.
