FAQs

Travel vaccination FAQs.

How far in advance should I book?
Ideally 6–8 weeks before departure. This allows time for vaccines requiring multiple doses and ensures Yellow Fever certificates are valid on departure. We can often accommodate shorter timeframes — call us to discuss.
How much do travel vaccines cost?
Prices vary by vaccine. Our full vaccine price list is on this page below. Your consultation is free, there is no separate charge for the pharmacist consultation, only the vaccine itself. Prices are subject to change — confirm at the clinic.
Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
Your passport if you need a Yellow Fever certificate, since your name and details must be recorded accurately for the certificate to be valid at the border. Otherwise, it is helpful but not essential, mainly so we can confirm your exact route. Also bring any existing vaccine records or yellow cards, and a list of your current medications. If you have an NHS vaccination record or previous travel health records, these help us avoid duplicate doses.
Can I get antimalarial tablets at the same appointment?
Yes. Antimalarial prescriptions are issued as part of the travel health consultation where appropriate. The prescription itself is priced separately, shown in our malaria tablets pricing.
