Kidney Function Test (U&E).
Checks how well your kidneys are filtering waste from your blood. Useful for general health screening, investigating symptoms, or monitoring certain medications and long-term conditions.
How well are your kidneys filtering?
This test, often called a U&E (urea and electrolytes), measures creatinine and urea, waste products your kidneys normally filter out of your blood, along with your estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), a calculation that reflects how efficiently your kidneys are working.
This test is commonly used for general health screening, monitoring long-term conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes, or checking kidney function before or during certain medications.
Is this test right for you?
