Male Sexual Health
Advanced Screen.
Our most complete male sexual health check, covering six common infections from a blood sample and a urine sample. Confidential, clinician-reviewed results.
Six infections, two sample types.
This screen combines a blood sample with a urine sample, so that both blood-borne infections and the two most common bacterial STIs are covered in a single visit.
Markers tested: Chlamydia (PCR), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (PCR), HIV 1 & 2 antibodies plus p24 antigen, Hepatitis B surface antigen, Hepatitis C antibody, and Syphilis (Treponema) IgG/IgM.
Is this screen right for you?
If you have symptoms such as discharge, pain when urinating, or testicular pain, testing can usually go ahead straight away. Speak to your pharmacist for advice on timing.
When to test after a specific exposure.
If you are testing after a specific incident, testing too soon can give a falsely reassuring result. Each infection has its own detection window.
