A simpler test, from one blood sample.
This test covers the four sexually transmitted infections that can be reliably detected from a blood sample alone. It does not include Chlamydia or Gonorrhoea, as these require a urine sample or swab rather than blood, and are not included in this simpler test.
Markers tested: HIV 1 & 2 antibodies plus p24 antigen, Hepatitis B surface antigen, Hepatitis C antibody, and Syphilis (Treponema) IgG/IgM.
Is this test right for you?
If you have any genital symptoms, or think you may have been exposed to Chlamydia or Gonorrhoea specifically, one of our Advanced Screens is likely to be more appropriate, since this test alone will not detect those two infections.
